I look forward to seeing as many of our alumni as possible at our upcoming Homecoming performance on Friday, October 25th at 8pm in Commonwealth Auditorium.
What is this concert, and why is it called, “Bandemonium”?
This concert features the best of the William and Mary bands program performing the finest wind literature for our favorite audience: our alumni. The Wind Ensemble (soon to be celebrating its 85th Anniversary), the Pep Band, and scores of band program alumni will be joining forces for one special concert that promises to be exciting, full of joy, and quite loud. This year’s concert features Paul Creston’s Celebration Overture, John Williams’ 1941 March, several Morton Gould classics including Dixie, American Salute, and March of the Leathernecks.
For all interested alumni, please know that a mandatory rehearsal is scheduled in Commonwealth Auditorium from 6-7pm. By registering for Homecoming here you are ensuring that we will be ready to supply you with music in preparation for our performance. Tickets are free for all WM Students and Alumni!
Musically Yours,
Director of Bands
